Lily-Anne Barry-Brisson is a young teenager living in Montreal. She has been passionate about words since she could hold a book. She juggles them through her choir songs, her poetry writings and, of course, her numerous readings. Being fascinated not only by parallel worlds, but also by the idea of the encounter of two people from different worlds, Lily-Anne started writing a short story, which later became a mini-novel. She takes great pleasure in creating and bringing her characters to life, because she projects herself into their place, and into another reality. On the Edge of Land and Sea (the English version of Entre terre et mer) is her first novel.
